Mrs. Mindu Lham is an accomplished financial professional and the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Tarayana Microfinance. With extensive experience in the banking and financial sector, Mrs. Lham has held several prominent positions including Banking Officer, Finance & Admissions Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Project Officer in leading commercial banks.

Her deep understanding of financial operations, combined with a strategic and people-focused leadership approach, positions her well to lead Tarayana Microfinance into a new era of growth and impact. Known for her commitment to financial empowerment and community development, Mrs. Lham brings both vision and experience to her new role.

Biography

Mr. Sangay Dorji joined Tarayana Microfinance Private Limited (TMF) in September 2025 as Company Secretary. He oversees key organizational functions, including administration, procurement, human resources, compliance, and project management, ensuring smooth coordination and operational efficiency across the company. 

With experience across government and private sectors in industries such as medical services, machinery and equipment, two-wheelers automobiles, and hospitality, he has developed strong expertise in managing government tenders, procurement processes, and human resource management. Over the years, he has served in various roles, including Manager, Operations Manager, Marketing Officer, Administration Officer, Procurement Executive, Hospitality Operations Officer, Teacher, Scout Master, and Social Worker.

Mr. Sangay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has completed several professional courses, including the Basic Scout Unit Leaders Training, Accounting with Tally, HR Planning and Forecasting, and Dzongkha Unicode. He also served as President and member of his college Rotaract Club in collaborationwith the Zonal Rotaract Club of Kalimpong, India. His diverse background and leadership continue to contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of TarayanaMicrofinance.

Biography

Kezang Dorji is a dedicated and motivated professional currently serving as a Field Officer at Tarayana Micro Finance Private Limited, stationed in Mongar. He completed his high school education in 2020 from Rinchen Higher Secondary School in Thimphu, where he laid a strong academic foundation with a focus on commerce and business studies.

To further enhance his knowledge and skills in the financial sector, Kezang pursued a three-month course in Financial Management and Accounting at the Thimphu Institute of Management. This training equipped him with essential skills in budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial analysis.

Eager to gain practical experience, Kezang joined Tarayana Micro Finance as an intern, where he spent 10 months learning the operational and community engagement aspects of microfinance. His dedication, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills earned him a permanent position with the organization, where he now plays an active role in supporting financial inclusion and rural development in eastern Bhutan.

Kezang continues to grow professionally and personally, committed to contributing meaningfully to Tarayana micro-finance.

Mr. Bikash Mafchan is a dedicated and service-oriented professional with a background in hospitality, management, and community engagement. After completing his higher secondary education from Damphu Central School, he pursued hotel management, specializing in front desk operations and reservation services, gaining hands-on experience at Hotel Kisa and Kichu Resort.

To enhance his management skills, he studied at the Thimphu Institute of Management, focusing on administrative and organizational practices. Alongside his professional career, Mr. Mafchan has actively volunteered in national and community programs such as MFTP, COVID duty, NADP, mobile voting, and the nationwide cleaning campaign. His interest in sustainability led to certification in Soilless Hi-Tech Farming (Hydroponics), showcasing his commitment to eco-friendly practices.

Currently serving as a Field Officer at Tarayana Microfinance Private Limited, he supports rural communities and promotes financial inclusion. Mr. Mafchan continues to seek opportunities to contribute meaningfully to society through his work and volunteerism.
